Level 7 Certificate in Injectables for Aesthetic Medicine
More delegates than ever are now enrolling on the new Level 7 Certificate in Injectables for Aesthetic Medicine.
Yet despite the advent of this new, higher level qualification, plenty of delegates still choose the 1-day course as their entry to the growing aesthetics industry.
Business Development Director Lee Cottrill discusses how 1 day BOTOX and dermal filler training courses still have a place alongside the Level 7 Certificate in Injectables for Aesthetic Medicine.
“The position we’ve taken in SkinViva Training is that we stand by the quality of our modular ‘day courses’ in aesthetics because we only train medical professionals and expose them to injecting real patient models and we support practitioners thoroughly after their course with us with access to skilled prescribers and a dedicated and highly active online support community.
“In fact, our Foundation Botox & Dermal Filler course is the first 1-day course on our roadmap of courses meaning it’s actually only the start of your journey.
“We believe therefore that all practitioners should start with a 1-day course (with a list of competencies against which they are assessed), build some basic experience to understand if they enjoy working in aesthetics, and then use that 1-day course as part of completing their Level 7 if they choose to go down this route.
“Either way, we don’t feel there’s a right or wrong here so when we speak to our customers we start by making sure they know that Level 7 is NOT compulsory and by asking them what they’re looking to achieve. In my experience, starting with the customer is usually the best place to start!”
Lee Cottrill, Business Development Director
