SkinViva Training Academy has launched a new ‘BOTOX® Intro & Refresher Half Day Course’, dedicated to those who want to focus purely on botulinum toxin treatments.
For some it provides the perfect introduction to this popular treatment, while for others, it is ideal as a refresher course.
The half day course has been launched after feedback from delegates that they only wanted to focus on BOTOX in particular. It essentially removes the dermal fillers element from the popular Foundation BOTOX® & Dermal Fillers course, which encompasses both treatments; allowing attendees to receive their training on BOTOX in just half a day.
This course is especially time efficient as delegates receive extensive learning resources for the theory element of the course in advance. They then take an online test to check their learning, which they must pass before they attend the course itself. Moreover, it also means that the ‘face to face’ element of the course can be heavily weighted to practical experience. Delegates watch demonstrations before taking part in practice on live models, with close guidance and supervision from SkinViva Training Academy’s excellent Clinician Trainers.
While the course is an excellent introduction to BOTOX treatments, it also provides an excellent ‘refresher’ for those who wish to build up their confidence and have their techniques checked before they inject. Whether this is after a maternity leave or a long gap after initial training, the course is inspiring as well as instructive and delegates leave ‘raring to go’.
Standards are high, as all delegates are medically qualified. Many delegates comment on the networking aspect of courses at SkinViva Training Academy, as they are able to meet like-minded medical professionals who are similarly embarking on a career in aesthetics.

The popular Foundation BOTOX® & Dermal Fillers course is recommended for those who wish to cover both areas. This is a full day course, with prices starting at £845 for weekdays and £945 for weekend courses.

SkinViva Training Academy’s injectable treatment courses are exclusively available to medical professionals with a medically based degree (or equivalent level qualification/training) as well as appropriate membership to a regulatory body with no restrictions to practice or pending investigations or suspensions from practice.
