The Mastery Programme is the most comprehensive learning programme available at SkinViva Training Academy; aiming to create Master Clinicians through a programme which incorporates 5 core clinical pillars and 3 core business domains. This unique offering allows us to share a wide bank of skills and knowledge for those who intend to be at the forefront of the industry – confident Master Clinicians.
Using a combination of small group practical courses, e-learning, coaching and designated Mentorship Days at SkinViva Training Academy, it’s delivered by Dr Tim Pearce & his expert team . Since launching in 2019, the Mastery Programme has already seen around 20 delegates graduate, with another 62 currently still on the programme.
Dr Bethany’s Mastery Programme Experience
The comprehensive nature of the programme means that it is a big commitment. There is a personal investment both in terms of time and cost. So how does the experience meet delegates expectations?

Dr Bethany explains:
“When I was deciding where to do my training I started looking on Google, as I’m sure everybody does; and I was really impressed by the number of people who were speaking so highly of the course and also the breadth of the training that was available.
“I wanted to sort of be assured that no matter where I did my training, I was going to be supported through the whole journey, so not just whilst I was there on the day but also with the after support.
“With the team at SkinViva, whenever I spoke to them made an enquiry for example… everyone was really responsive and I thought that’s exactly the kind of thing I need getting started in an Aesthetics journey.
“I chose the Mastery Programme because, as anyone who knows me will know, if I’m doing something I want to do it properly and when I looked at the details of the course and the fact that you covered basically the full face, full face assessment; there was business support, the cannula training, complications management – all the things that you really need when getting started, but also even as a more advanced clinician; so I really liked the way you can build an existing skills but also go go really in depth.
“The fact there was a WhatsApp group as well for ongoing support was really important to me, because I think in aesthetics it can be quite an isolating profession, especially if you work by yourself; so having more of a network available. There were loads of online resources as well, so being able to do the pre-training online but have access to it afterwards, all of that put together made it a really great choice for me.
“I’d say what I’ve enjoyed the most about training at SkinViva probably two things. One of them is the community that is part of the process, so when you do something like the Mastery Programme you meet so many like-minded clinicians who’ve all chosen this quality of course for a reason, so it’s really great having that support network but also friends and we all stay in touch outside of the courses as well.
“In terms of the days themselves the actual hands-on experience is amazing you’ll have sometimes even one-to-one on some of the days and very few delegates compared to number of patients, so I felt really confident going straight into sort of clinical work treating patients based on the hands-on experience I had here. I know that there’s so many courses out there with big groups gathered around the patients and this is probably the smallest groups I’ve ever seen.”

Mini Mastery Programme
If you are not ready for the full Mastery Programme commitment, SkinViva Training Academy now also offer the 3-Stage Mini Mastery Programme. This offers bite-sized stages of our most comprehensive training programme, without the larger financial and or time commitment. Each stage can be completed within 12 months, allowing delegates to progress at a more suitable pace than the full mastery programme which should take around 18 months to complete.
