Booking A Course FAQs

Thinking of booking a course?

That’s great news. This section of Frequently Asked Questions provides the answers to your questions about your booking including the nitty gritty such as payment options and cancellation policy.

Payment is required at the point of booking in order to secure a space and prevent someone else from taking it.

You can choose whether to pay in full straightaway or to pay via Continuous Payment Authority which enables you to spread the cost over 3 months (or 5 months if booking 2+ courses).

Please note, payments are non-refundable, but if necessary, may be transferred to different course dates in line with the Terms and Conditions.

Yes. All the prices quoted on our website are inclusive of VAT.

SkinViva Training Academy has two ways to pay:

  • Payment in full
    • You can choose to pay for your training in one go upon booking your training course
  • Spread the cost of training at no extra charge:
    • 1 course – spread the cost over 3 months – book online or on the phone
    • 2+ courses – spread the cost over 5 months – exclusively available for telephone bookings

We no longer take deposits. You can either pay in full or choose to spread the cost over 3 months (see above).

We understand that sometimes plans change and you may need to change your arrangements. Please see below for how we handle changing training dates:

  • Changing date between 1-3 working weeks (7-21 calendar days) before your original training course date – there is a 30% charge for changing date plus the administration charge of £25.
  • Changing date within 1 week (7 calendar days) of course date – there is 50% charge plus £25 admin fee.
  • Changing date within 48 hours – 100% fee plus £25 admin fee
  • In the event of a death in your immediate family, please contact us within 7 days of the circumstances to notify us and we will re-book your course place upon the supply of a death certificate (subject to a £25 administration fee). Unfortunately no other exceptions can be made

We apply these fees because the closer it gets to the course date, the harder it is to fill delegate spaces.  If you need to change your course, please contact us on 0161 850 2491 to book onto a different date and to pay the residual charge required if necessary.

No. We do not add any interest on our payment scheme.

If you’re unable to attend your training course and can’t move your booking to another date, please see below for how we handle cancellations and amendments. These rules also apply to sickness:

  • All cancellations incur a £25 administration charge.
  • We are unable to refund deposits.
  • Cancelling more than 4 working weeks (28 calendar days) before your original course date– there is no charge in addition to the administration charge, please contact us on 0161 850 2491 to obtain a full refund minus the administration charge.
  • Cancelling between 3 and 4 working weeks (21-28 calendar days) before your original course date– there is a 30% charge plus the administration charge, please contact us on 0161 850 2491 to obtain a part refund.
  • Cancelling within 3 working weeks (21 calendar days) before your original course date – 100% of the course fees must be paid plus the administration charge.

SkinViva Training do not provide cancellation insurance.

Delegates may be able to independently arrange insurance to provide indemnity against possible cancellation. We cannot recommend an insurance provider nor can we accept any liability for any insurance policy you choose to buy.
