We advise our trainees to refer to the individual course pages for specific information on what happens during your training course with us. As a general rule of thumb however, a typical 1-day training course is made up of a mix of classroom based learning, live demonstration, and plenty of expertly supervised practical hands-on experience.
Your training will be undertaken by experienced Aesthetic Doctors and Dentists of SkinViva Ltd, headed by Dr Tim Pearce MB ChB BSc (Hons) MRCGP, a leading aesthetic Doctor and trainer, and Clinical Director of SkinViva Ltd – one of the North-West’s leading providers of non-surgical facial treatments. Yes most definitely! SkinViva Training puts hands-on practical experience at the heart of its courses. We believe that we all learn by doing so we put as much time as possible into ensuring you get ample opportunity to perform treatments on models and discuss and oversee approaches by fellow trainees.
A typical SkinViva Training course will involve both individual work and working with other people to benefit from shared learning and experience.
- Theory-based learning and assessment is carried out by our trainees on an individual basis.
- Practical hands on learning is carried out in small groups so you can share knowledge on injection techniques and best practice.
We actively encourage all participants in practical sessions to have as much hands-on experience as possible however and so a rotation system is used to ensure all trainees have sufficient time to practice on our models.
Please see our Car Park Information page for advice on directions and parking.
