Course details
This course covers a medical grade advanced / intensive peel that treats a multitude of skin concerns including:
- Acne
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Pigmentation
- Collagen production
- Loss of firmness
- Poor texture and tone
- Skin lacking in radiance
Peels are a cost effective, must have treatment for any successful clinic. We teach you the theory behind chemical peeling, how to consult and manage patient expectations.
Training is provided using one of the safest systems on the market, supplied by a reputable UK distributor. All peels are medical grade and CE marked.
The kit is included in the cost of the course, and you will use this to treat your model on the day. Your kit includes:

- Physical examination/skin assessment
- Obtaining informed consent
- Communication skills, assessing patients key concerns
- Understanding patients goals, managing expectations
- Demonstrating hygienic practice and infection control
- Overall ability to perform the procedure competently
- Post procedure management and aftercare advice
- Professionalism
Your trainer will work with you to help you meet the required standard for each of these criteria. Delegates not able to meet one or more of the criteria will be asked to resit their training on a different date at an additional cost.
Successful completion of the criteria results in a SkinViva Training certificate, which is issued at the end of your training day.
